Bottom-up construction of surface frustrated Lewis pairs on FeOOH-modified In2O3−x for enhanced photocatalytic CO2 reduction
Abstract
An FeOOH-modified In2O3−x photocatalyst was constructed via a bottom-up synthetic strategy. The surface-anchored FeOOH species facilitate the formation of surface frustrated Lewis pairs (FLPs) on the In2O3−x matrix, promote the generation and migration of photogenerated carriers, and thereby contribute to excellent photocatalytic CH4 production under sunlight irradiation.
