Size-matched supramolecular assembly between an asymmetric Anderson-type polyoxometalate hybrid and α-/γ-cyclodextrins

Abstract

We report here the supramolecular assembly between a new asymmetric polyoxometalate hybrid and α-/γ-CDs, which leads to novel pseudo-rotaxane and poly-pseudo-rotaxane structures that have been thoroughly characterized in solution and in the solid state by adopting various techniques, including NMR, ESI-TOF-MS, ITC and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
