Exciton interactions in crystalline crossed diazapentacene

Abstract

The presence of heteroatoms and their influence on excitonic interactions are vital and can help engineer the optoelectronic properties in molecular assemblies. Herein, we report the effect of nitrogen atoms on excitonic coupling and the resulting optical properties of an orthogonally cross-stacked crystalline diazapentacene derivative.
