Three isostructural POCs (O/S/SePOC) have been prepared. Under precise heteroatoms engineering, SePOC exhibits the best iodine adsorption ability than OPOC and SPOC with a value of 4.43 g g-1, which also exceeds most of molecular materials. SePOC was also fabricated as a thin film sensor for the first time to detect iodine vapor with fast detection rate and high reusability.
