Dual network hygroscopic gel for efficient atmospheric water harvesting

Abstract

A multifunctional K-car/PAM/PDA@LiCl gel composite exhibits high water uptake (1.45 g·g⁻¹ at 70% RH), robust mechanics properties, >94% solar absorption, and 70% desorption under 1 kW·m⁻² in 360 min. Its long-term stability under outdoor conditions highlights its promise for efficient atmospheric water harvesting across diverse environments.
