Non-covalent interaction-controlled site-selective benzylic C(sp3)–H oxidation
Abstract
By leveraging the non-covalent interaction between a sulfonate group-containing anthraquinone-type catalyst and an anilinium salt, selective benzylic C(sp3)–H oxidation proceeds at the meta-position in substrates with two possible reaction sites and in intermolecular competition reactions.
