Elucidating host–guest interactions between phosphine-based porous aromatic frameworks and platinum for enhanced HER

Abstract

Host–guest interactions between porous materials and metal species play an important role in boosting the catalytic activities of supported catalysts. Here, we utilized phosphine-based porous aromatic frameworks (PAFs) as effective hosts, and elucidated how the interactions between PAFs and Pt nanoparticles affected their catalytic performances for the hydrogen evolution reaction.
