Electrochemical synthesis of phosphorylated oxazolines from N-allylamides
Abstract
A green and efficient electrochemical method for the synthesis of phosphorylated oxazolines has been developed via ferrocene-mediated electrochemical cyclization of N-allylamides with diarylphosphine oxides. This protocol operates under mild, oxidant-free conditions in an undivided cell setup with constant current. Notably, a wide range of N-allylamides were well tolerated, affording the desired products in moderate to very good yields. Significantly, drug diversification has been proven amenable.
