Unlocking room-temperature phosphorescence in curved corannulene scaffolds via multi-esterification and phenyl bridging
Abstract
The room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) properties of corannulene were successfully activated through multi-esterification and phenyl bridging strategies, where the ester groups enhanced spin–orbit coupling (SOC) to facilitate intersystem crossing (ISC), while the phenyl bridges improved RTP efficiency.
