Integration of spatially confined high-entropy building block-like Fe/Mn mixed phases into porous carbon nanofibers for enhanced electrosynthesis of ammonia
Abstract
Electrosynthesis of ammonia from nitrate is very promising. Herein, spatially-confined high-entropy building block-like Fe/Mn mixed phases species were integrated into porous carbon nanofibers for electrosynthesis of ammonia, affording a yield of 35.6 ± 1.1 mg h−1 mgcat−1 and a faradaic efficiency of 91.8 ± 2.8% at −1.1 V vs. RHE.
