Lewis Acid-Mediated In/In2O3 Heterointerfaces with Abundant Oxygen Vacancies Boosting CO2 Electroreduction into Formate

Abstract

We employed the Lewis acid doping strategy to creates stable In/In2O3 interfaces and oxygen vacancies during the electrocatalytic reduction of CO2, thereby enhancing the selectivity of formate. The optimized catalyst achieves the high faradaic efficiency for formate (exceeding 90%), across a broad range of potentials.
