Use of aggregation-induced emission for detection of molecular motion during solvent evaporative crystallization of α-substituted dibenzoylmethanatoboron difluoride complex

Abstract

Hierarchical changes in molecular motion during solvent-evaporative crystallization were investigated based on the excited-state dynamics of AIE compounds, achieving fluorescence visualization of the molecular motion of liquid-like clusters as precursors of nuclei, which provides important insights into nucleation and polymorph formation processes.
