Abstract

Disclosed herein is the first example of visible-light-promoted C(sp³)–C(sp³) bond formation via a radical–radical coupling strategy, enabled by a sequential intermolecular charge transfer and atom transfer steps, for synthesizing unnatural amino acids and modifying peptides.
