Synthesis of hierarchically porous imine-linked covalent organic framework films via amorphous-to-crystalline transformation

Abstract

Improving the processability of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) is of significance for practical applications. Here we present a two-step method including film shaping and amorphous-to-crystalline transformation for the synthesis of COF films with hierarchical porosity. Leveraging its solution processability, we further demonstrate COF/polyacrylonitrile composites with enhanced mechanical properties.
