A conjugated conductive polymer coating towards a robust micro-Si anode for lithium storage†
Abstract
Cyclization chemistry of polyacrylonitrile is utilized to construct a robust, conductive conjugated polymer sheath over amorphous carbon-coated micro-sized Si particles. It enables a dual-layered coating design with improved stability and conductivity while guiding the formation of a LiF-rich solid electrolyte interphase, enabling stable Li storage for 400 cycles at a high rate.
