A cost-effective green antisolvent towards reproducible fabrication of high-efficiency perovskite solar cells

Abstract

The cost-effective sustainable tert-butanol (TBA) as a green antisolvent is applied in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). The TBA-assisted device yields an impressive power conversion efficiency of 24.5%. Notably, the TBA antisolvent offers an ultrawide processing window, significantly improving the reproducibility of PSCs. The effects of TBA stem from its hydrogen-bonding interactions with N,N-dimethylformamide/dimethyl sulfoxide (DMF/DMSO) solvents.
