Ultra-Selective Detection of Radionuclide Sr2+ via Tuning Valence Eu3+ to Eu2+ in Lanthanide Clusters
Abstract
A europium-nickel nanocluster probe (Eu-NiCs) was engineered via valence-programmable synthesis for selective Sr²⁺ detection. This one-step hydrothermal design achieves unmatched selectivity (Sr²⁺/Ba²⁺=14.7) and a 2.1 μg g⁻¹ detection limit.
