Glucose-responsive magnetic microrobots: 4D printing and targeted embolization application

Abstract

This work formulates a magnetic hydrogel ink optimized for four-dimensional printing of magnetic microrobots with complex geometries. With integrated magnetic guidance and glucose responsiveness, the microrobots demonstrate precise magnetic-guided targeting and on-demand embolization in a simulated vascular network, highlighting their promising potential for intelligent intervention therapies.
