Cu-based Dual-Metal Site Catalysts for Efficient Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

Abstract

We synthesized a CuRh1Cr1 DAA catalyst with isolated Rh and Cr single-atom in Cu nanoparticles via spark ablation in liquid (SAL) method. The isolated Rh and Cr single atoms have different coordination environments and can synergistically drive the catalytic process. The alkaline HER electrocatalytic performance of CuRh1Cr1 DAA is comparable to that of commercial Pt/C.
