A sensitive 2D Cu-TCPP-based respiratory ammonia sensor for non-invasive and more accessible detection of Helicobacter pylori infection
Abstract
This study created a sensitive Raman ammonia sensor using 2D Cu-TCPP nanosheets for noninvasive H. pylori detection. Leveraging multiple ammonia-binding sites and Au nanoparticle signal enhancement, it achieved a 1 ppm detection limit. Testing patients' breath, it identified H. pylori via ammonia levels, showing clear I997/I1030 ratio shifts post-urea intake, offering a promising noninvasive diagnostic tool.
