Regulating p-type conjugation in bipolar polyimide covalent organic frameworks for high-performance zinc dual-ion batteries

Abstract

Two novel polyimide covalent organic frameworks (TPA-NDI and TPPA-NDI) are developed for zinc-ion battery cathodes. By introducing a p-type ligand conjugation extension strategy, TPPA-NDI batteries achieve dual-ion storage within a broad voltage window (0–1.6 V), delivering high energy density of 278.4 Wh kg–1.
