High-Performance Pseudocapacitors Enabled by H⁺/OH⁻ Mixed Ion Conductors in Perovskite Electrodes

Abstract

Oxygen-ion intercalation perovskites in pseudocapacitors suffer from slow ion transport and instability. Here, we propose SrZr₀.₈Y₀.₂O₃ based perovskite, a H⁺/OH⁻ mixed ion conductor, achieving 1164.9 F g⁻¹ at 2 A g⁻¹. Mo doping strategy enhances capacitance to 1467.7 F g⁻¹ at 2 A g⁻¹, demonstrating superior performance and stability for advanced supercapacitors.
