Visible-light-induced radical 1,3-hydrosulfonylation of allylketones with sulfonyl chlorides†
Abstract
A radical 1,3-hydrosulfonylation of allylketones with sulfonyl chlorides via 1,2-carbonyl migration has been achieved under visible-light-irradiation. This reaction proceeds efficiently under mild conditions and exhibits broad substrate scope and excellent functional group tolerance. The synthetic utility of this method is demonstrated by scale-up synthesis and late-stage modification of biologically relevant molecules.
