Effect of pressure and temperature on the structure and optical properties of two-dimensional lead iodide perovskites
Abstract
Hydrostatic pressure and temperature were used to tune the structural and optical properties of layered organic-inorganic perovskites. The narrowing of the band gap in [C(NH2)3]2PbI4 and CsC(NH2)3PbI4 has been achieved by both compression and temperature increase. This beneficial modification of the optical properties has been associated with structural changes induced under variable thermodynamic conditions.
