Enhancing Moisture Stability of Halide Solid Electrolytes via Graphitic Carbon Nitride Coating: A Case Study on Li3YCl6
Abstract
The inherent air instability of halide solid-state electrolytes (HSSEs) remains a critical barrier for solid-state battery applications. Herein, the degradation behaviour of Li₃YCl₆ under controlled atmospheric exposure was investigated in detail. Additionally, a g-C₃N₄ coating was employed to enhance the moisture resistance of Li₃YCl₆ HSSEs.
