Abstract

The heterodipnictogen complexes [{CpMo(CO)₂}₂(μ,η^2:2-PE)] (E = P, As, Sb) react with the phosphorus(I) transfer reagent [(BZIMPY)P][CF₃SO₃] (BZIMPY = 2,6-bis(benzimidazole-2-yl)pyridine) in a transmetallation reaction forming the unprecedented [CpMo(CO)₂(η³-P₂E)] complexes.
