End-capping fluorination of vinylene-linked covalent organic frameworks for photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide production

Abstract

Inspired by the concept of an “antenna”, a simple end-capping fluorination strategy was proposed, facilitating the introduction of electron-withdrawing domains and oxygen adsorption sites. Following fluorination, the photocatalytic H2O2 production performance of Post-v-COF-F2 was 1.75 times higher than that of the pristine Homo-v-COF.
