Mediating the Li diffusion path in composite polymer electrolytes by mesoporous SBA-15 for all-solid-state lithium batteries

Abstract

Here, we present a composite polymer electrolyte incorporated with mesoporous zeolite SBA-15 fillers with improved Li transport and interfacial properties. By regulating Li transport through finely dispersed fillers and improving their interaction with the polyethylene oxide matrix, the symmetrical cell with Li metal exhibits a long cycle time of 730 h, and the Li/5% SBA-15 CPE/LFP delivers a specific capacity of 126 mA h gāˆ’1 and capacity retention of 86% after 110 cycles.
