Synthesis of trisubstituted hydroxylamines by a visible light-promoted multicomponent reaction

Abstract

A green and efficient method for the synthesis of trisubstituted hydroxylamines from β-keto ester, 2-nitrosopyridine and aryldiazoacetates has been developed. This multicomponent reaction occurred under sole blue LED irradiation in the absence of additional catalysts and additives. Two different kinds of trisubstituted hydroxylamines can be easily obtained by simply changing the reaction media used.
