Retracted Article: Direct Sb–S cross-coupling of halostibines with thiols and disulfides at room temperature
Abstract
A facile and efficient protocol has been developed for preparing thiostibines via direct Sb–S cross-coupling of halostibines containing azastibocine frameworks with thiols under additive-free conditions. Additionally, a zinc(0)-mediated transformation of Sb–halogen bonds to Sb–S bonds by employing disulfides as the sulfur source is also described. These reactions proceed efficiently at room temperature, tolerate a wide range of functional groups, and can be scaled-up, delivering the corresponding coupling products in moderate to excellent yields.
