Ni-Catalyzed Stereoselective Difunctionalization of Alkynes
Tri- and tetrasubstituted olefins are widely present in biologically active molecules and functional materials. However, the methods for stereoselective construction of such moieties are still very limited and extremely challenging. The transition-metal-catalyzed difunctionalization of alkynes is one of the most straightforward and effective choices. In this review, we summarize the progress of nickel-catalyzed alkyne difunctionalization reaction, with an emphasis on the strategy and control of stereochemistry.
