An amino acid-assisted approach to fabricate nanosized hierarchical TS-1 zeolites for efficient oxidative desulfurization

Abstract

Nanosized hierarchical TS-1 zeolites with intercrystalline and intracrystalline meso-/macropores have been successfully synthesised by amino acid-assisted strategy under two-step rota-crystallization conditions. Compared to micron-sized microporous TS-1 zeolites, amino acid-directed hierarchical materials exhibit remarkably enhanced catalytic activity in oxidative desulfurization reactions owing to the improved accessibility of reactants to the microporous space of zeolites.
