Acid-degradable biobased epoxy-imine adaptable network polymer and its fabrication for responsive structural color film

Abstract

A vanillin-derived epoxy intermediate was prepared and then cooperated with isophorone diamine and polyetheramine D-400 for a series of epoxy-imine network polymers, which exhibit reprocessable and acid-degradable properties. A composite film with responsive structural color was prepared from monodispersed polystyrene particles and the acid-degradation product of epoxy-imine polymer.
