Fluorooxoborate layers: second harmonic generation and Raman spectra anisotropy†
Abstract
Fluorooxoborate functional materials are of great interest owing to their superiority in deep-ultraviolet nonlinear optics. Based on the structure-driven property strategy, fluorooxoborate layers composed of functional modules were highlighted and evaluated for the first time. The second hamonic generation and Raman anisotropy of the functional layers were explored by setting up their layer models. It is found that the layers of fluorooxoborates have large SHG and Raman spectra anisotropy, which offers a perspective on the investigation of anisotropic functional materials to optimize device performance.
