First preparation of microporous AFY-type MeAPOs by topotactic pillaring of lamellar aluminophosphate precursors

Abstract

Topotactic pillaring of lamellar aluminophosphate (ALPO) layers with zinc cations is used to prepare microporous zincoaluminophosphate (ZnAPO) with an AFY-type framework for the first time. This approach should be promising for the preparation of metalloaluminophosphates (MeAPOs) with predicted structures containing no organic structure-directing agents (OSDAs).
