Applications of electrochemical sensors and biosensors based on modified screen printed electrodes: A review

Abstract

The focus of this report is electroanalysis via screen printed electrodes. All the basic characteristics of this field are taken into account including fundamental assessments using screen printed as the electrode material, the use of laboratory testing first electrode prototypes, fundamental and progressive researches on different electrode procedures, practical uses of determining biological species, pharmaceutical compositions, environmental contaminants and heavy metals. The last case is provided in a set of comprehensive tables, showing an overall survey of published approaches. Lastly, current trends and significant achievements are delineated along with future options.
