Novel sky blue heteroleptic iridium(iii) complexes with finely-optimized emission spectra for highly efficient organic light-emitting diodes

Abstract

Two new highly efficient sky blue heteroleptic iridium(III) complexes exhibiting finely-optimized emission spectra have been developed by the optimal mixing of 3LC and 3MLCT/3LLCT transitions through construction of specific frontier molecular orbitals.
