Palladium-catalyzed diastereo- and enantioselective formal [3 + 2] cycloaddition of vinyl cyclopropanes with cyclic 1-azadienes

Abstract

Palladium-catalyzed asymmetric formal [3 + 2] cycloadditions of vinyl cyclopropanes and cyclic 1-azadienes proceeded smoothly in the presence of chiral phosphoramidite ligands to afford the corresponding highly functionalized cyclopentanes in good yields along with high enantioselectivities under mild conditions.
