A carbene-catalyzed tandem isomerization/cyclisation strategy: an efficient assembly of benzoxazinones

Abstract

We herein describe a carbene-catalyzed tandem isomerization/cyclisation strategy. This protocol features broad functional group tolerance and allows the rapid assembly of a number of valuable benzoxazinones or quinazolinones from simple and readily available substrates under mild conditions.
