Multicompartment Block Copolymer Nanoparticles: Recent Advances and Future Perspectives

Abstract

In the past six years or so, great progress has been made in preparation of multicompartment block copolymer nanoparticles (MBCNs) via the traditional solution self-assembly or the recently emerging polymerization-induced self-assembly (PISA). Herein, we review the recent advances in synthesis/preparation of MBCNs under dilute (solution self-assembly) or concentrated (PISA) conditions, respectively, with special emphasis on PISA.
