Visible light-induced aerobic oxidative cross-coupling reaction: preparation of α-indolyl glycine derivatives

Abstract

Visible light-induced aerobic oxidative cross-dehydrogenative coupling between glycine derivatives and indoles has been developed, and α-indolyl glycine derivatives have been synthesized using Rose Bengal as a photocatalyst. Metal-free catalysis and efficient synthesis under ambient conditions are attractive features of this method.
