Gated ion transport through layered graphene oxide membranes

Abstract

Gate-induced ion flow through 2D layered graphene oxide membranes has been reported. The applied isolated gate voltage allows for notable control over sub-nanometer confined ionic current as a function of gate polarity and gate electrode location.
