Spectroscopic properties of GdxLa1−xAlO3 nanocrystals doped with Pr3+ ions

Abstract

The spectroscopic and structural properties of GdxLa1−xAlO3 nanocrystals doped with praseodymium(III) ions have been investigated. The absorption, excitation, and emission spectra and time decay profiles of the praseodymium(III) ions for different perovskite samples were measured and analyzed. The influence of annealing temperature, as well as the influence of the La/Gd ratio on the samples luminescent properties, were analyzed and discussed.
