Mini-review in engineering approach towards selective of transition metal complex-based catalyst for photocatalytic H2 production

Abstract

Among plenty of metal complexes, transition metal-based complexes (Ru, Co, Cu, Fe) exhibit rich structure types, outstanding stability and interesting properties. Advances in those transition metal complex-based molecular catalyst since 2000 are made a brief of sum-up from two aspects: catalyst selection and application for photocatalytic H2 evolution.
