Reversible Pyrrole-Based Proton Storage/Release in Ruthenium(II) Complexes

Abstract

The newly designed ruthenium(II) complexes containing pyridylpyrrole ligand are featured on fast-responsive and reversible proton storage/release on pyrrole group, and protonated pyrrolium as acidic initiator is capable of triggering polymerization of 2,2-dimethyloxirane.
