Chemiresistive Thin-film Translating Biological Recognition into Electrical Signal: An Innovative Signaling Mode for Contactless Biosensing

Abstract

An innovative signaling mode in which the chemiresistive thin-film electrode monitors the specific gaseous component that results from the biological recognition event to indirectly detect targets in liquid phase is developed for high-efficient contactless biosensing. This signaling mode may open a new horizon in designing robust biosensing device for bioanalysis.
