Organic-free synthesis and ortho-reaction of monodisperse Ni incorporated CeO2 nanocatalysts

Abstract

We explore an organic-free route for the synthesis of monodisperse Ni incorporated CeO2 nanocatalysts, which show enriched oxygen vacancies and high redox potentials. In particular, we unveil an ortho-reaction mechanism of the catalyst, which can ensure sufficient contact and reaction of adsorbents and might be very beneficial to Langmuir–Hinshelwood type reactions.
