Ru(ii)-Catalyzed C6-selective C–H amidation of 2-pyridones

Abstract

Ru(II)-Catalyzed C6 site-selective amidation of 2-pyridones with 1,4,2-dioxazol-5-ones has been developed. The reaction occurred with a low catalyst loading and broad substrate scope under mild conditions, affording desired products in up to 98% yields within a short time.
