Multi-catalyst promoted asymmetric relay reactions

Abstract

Cooperative multi-catalyst systems enable the syntheses of complex molecules with high selectivity from readily available starting materials in a biomimetic way. This strategy is highly attractive because it can minimize waste production and the consumption of energy and time, as well as other resources. This highlight focuses on cooperative multi-catalyst systems, especially bismetallic- and organo-catalyst mediated asymmetric relay reactions.
