A conjugate of jasmonic acid and tetrapeptide Tyr-Tyr-Lys-Ser-NH2 as a potential ingredient for skin care products – synthesis and characterization

Abstract

A conjugate of jasmonic acid and a tetrapeptide (YYKS-NH2) was developed and characterized by ESI-MS, NMR, FTIR and DSC spectroscopies. Moreover, the toxic hazard of the newly synthesized conjugate was assessed by different computational methods. It is believed that the conjugate is a promising compound for skin care products.
